8 Apr 09 – Day Forty-Two. Although the wayward cyclists are closing in on their destination, it now appears they may be having second thoughts about actually completing the journey. Perhaps it’s randonneur’s remorse or maybe a fear of waking up on Friday and not having someplace to go, no tangible target, no physicality to battle against, no gator to wrestle, no alien to avoid or maybe it’s just a fear of showers and civilization.
